Model 400 Series Parts
Replaceable components for Aprilaire Model 400 humidifiers. Distribution trays, scale control insert more. All parts are shipped in "single" carton quantities with the exception of #45 Water Panel.
The Models 400 and 400M were first introduced in 2007. This unit is a "recirculating bypass" humidifier. Although the Model 400 uses a different drainless technology, it replaces the Models 225, 445, 445-A and 448.
Model 440 Series Parts
The Model 440 was first introduced in 1971. This is a "bypass" humidifier. The Model 440 was in production until 1996. The replacement bypass humidifier for this model is the Model 600 or 600M.
Model 445 Series Parts

The Model 445 was first introduced in 1971. This is a "recirculating bypass" humidifier. The Model 445 was in production until 2002. The replacement recirculating bypass humidifier for this model is the Model 400 or 400M.

The Models 500 and 500M were first introduced in 2007. This unit is a "bypass" humidifier. The Model 500 and 500M replaces the Models 550, 550-A and 558.
A bypass humidifier gets its air movement through the Water Panel® by the differential pressure between the supply (hot air) plenum and the return (cold air) duct. The supply plenum is under positive pressure and the return duct is under negative pressure. The bypass humidifier can be installed either on the supply plenum or on the return duct with equal effectiveness. It will have no adverse effect on any component in the furnace, air cleaner or filter.

The Model 550 was first introduced in 1989. This is a "bypass" humidifier. The Model 550 was in production until 2006. The replacement bypass humidifier for this model is the Model 500 or 500M.

Model 600 Series Parts

The almond color Model 600 was first introduced in 2001. This Model was in production until October 2007.
The light blue/gray Models 600A and 600M Models were introduced in October 2007. These units replaced the almond color Model 600. These units are "bypass" humidifiers. The Model 600 and 600M replaces the 220, 224, 440, 560, 560-A and 568 and almond 600.

The Model 700 and 700M humidifiers were first introduced in 2007. These units are "powered" humidifiers. The 700 and 700M replaces the 110, 112, 760, 760-A and 768.
The Aprilaire Models 700 and 700M have a fan which moves the air through the Water Panel®. The fan pulls the hot air from the duct into the Water Panel and then sends it out the two slots on either side of the Water Panel. The fan does not blow the air through the Water Panel and into the duct.

Model 110 and 112 Series Parts
The Model 110 was first introduced in 1954. The Model 112 was first introduced in 1957. These are "power" humidifiers. The Model 110 was in production until 1992 and the Model 112 was in production until 1991. The replacement power humidifier for these models is the Model 700 or 700M.
